MGS2-style Gamepad Config for Twin Snakes

A "smart" gamepad profile that takes advantage of Dolphin's input expressions functionality, in an attempt to faithfully recreate the control style of Metal Gear Solid 2 on PC. Apart from a little bit of jank in certain situations (and the confirm button being Square), it acts very similarly to MGS2.

This profile requires a version of Dolphin that supports advanced Input Expressions (added in October 2019).
The stable release of Dolphin 5.0 (June 2016) does not include this support.

Features

• Face buttons B/A/X mapped to Circle/Square/X
• Single-button Pause (Start) and Codec (Select)
• Run and gun (auto-aim) using the L1 button, with logic to (mostly) avoid unwanted punches
• Run and gun (no auto-aim) using X & Square - same as MGS1 and the PS2 versions of MGS2
• Gun holstering using the L3 button (Triangle still works as in TTS)
• Equip menu toggle and open together on L2/R2, using delayed open

  Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Config\Profiles\GCPad

• Open your controller config, select

  MGSTwinSnakes_MGS2Style_XInput

  in the profiles dropdown, and click
