- Replace
stage.mgz
in the main install directory.
General changes
- Skip cutscenes (WIP)
- Forced codecs changed to optional (WIP)
- Boss continues & saves changed to start at the boss itself (WIP)
- Dock elevator arrives immediately
- Guard Encounter cell door opens immediately
- Skip Meryl's claymore walk
- Prison sequence starts at Otacon's arrival
- Inventory removed at start of prison sequence in Any%
- Cargo elevator travel phases skipped
- Score available on Very Easy
PAL key changes
- TLDR: Once you get the PAL key back, return to Blast Furnace to heat the key, and use it on the third computer.
- The 4 minute head start on cooling/heating is available as soon as you collect the PAL key from Underground Base 1, in both Warehouse (if the key is not already hot) and Blast Furnace. In the regular game, this head start is only given when you enter those areas at the appropriate point in the story.
- Warehouse/Blast Furnace/bottom of Cargo Elevator cooling/heating rate doubled
- All computers can be used if key is the appropriate variant (only hot key required to progress)
- Warehouse changes to guarded variant as soon as you collect the PAL key
Ideas
- varsave -a at more appropriate times (e.g. before rank up rather than after)
- Port to console version of Integral
